How does the 3D configurator integrate with my e-commerce platform?
We embed via a small script snippet placed on your product page — the same approach works on Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress. Your team chooses which 3D model loads per product. No platform lock-in, and no replacement of your existing checkout or cart.
How long does setup and integration typically take?
Most basic embeds ship within a week. Full integrations with custom 3D model preparation scope to a few weeks, depending on catalog size and platform — we provide a precise timeline during the demo call.
What 3D model formats do you support? Can I bring my own?
We work natively with glTF and GLB, the open web standards for 3D. If your existing models are in CAD formats (Rhino, Matrix, JCD, STL), we handle conversion. Brands without existing 3D libraries can have us build the models from scratch or coordinate with your existing 3D artist.
Do you offer photorealistic gemstone rendering, or is it stylized 3D?
Photorealistic. We use real-time ray-tracing for the gemstone passes — separate IOR values per RGB channel produce visible chromatic dispersion, and multi-bounce internal reflections give faceted stones the glass-clear look they have in person. Diamonds look like diamonds, rubies look like rubies. Most configurators use flat or PBR shaders that approximate gemstones; we render the physics.
Will the configurator slow down my product pages or hurt Core Web Vitals?
No. The configurator only initializes when a shopper opens it — your product page loads normally. The widget itself is built with Rust and WebAssembly, which has lower runtime overhead and a smaller payload than equivalent JavaScript. Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, and Interaction to Next Paint on your product page are unaffected until the shopper interacts.
Can shoppers customize and preview before buying — and does the configuration carry into checkout?
Yes. Shoppers rotate, zoom, swap metals, and swap gemstones in real time, seeing the result update with photoreal lighting. The exact configuration — including selected materials and stones — is captured as part of the order, so your team produces what the customer actually saw on screen.
Do you build configurators only for jewelry, or for other product categories too?
Jewelry is our deepest specialty, but it's not the only thing we build. If you have a catalog outside jewelry — furniture, packaging, industrial parts, anything — we're open to collaborating and building 3D models and configurators to fit. The same engineering-led approach we bring to gemstone optics carries over to any product category.
