Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Obox 3D Jewelry Configurator app for Shopify (the "App") and the website jewelshop.ai (the "Site"), provided by Out of the Box Systems ("Obox", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

The App adds an interactive 3D jewelry configurator to a Shopify storefront, letting shoppers view a product in real time and switch its metal and stone. It is a storefront display widget: it requests no data-access permissions and does not modify your products, orders, or checkout.

2. Subscriptions and billing

The App is offered on a paid subscription. All charges are processed through the Shopify Billing API and appear on your Shopify invoice. By subscribing you authorise the recurring charge at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

3. Your content and models

You retain all rights to the 3D models, images, product data, and other content you upload or supply for use with the App ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process and display Your Content solely to provide the App to you. You are responsible for having the rights to Your Content and for ensuring it does not infringe the rights of others.

4. Our intellectual property

The App, the configurator and rendering technology, the Site, and all related software and materials are and remain the property of Obox and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App while your subscription is active. You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App or Site to:

• break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service;
• circumvent licensing, usage limits, or security measures.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the App available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features over time. Support is available at [email protected].

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Obox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the App or Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and your store-level record is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless local mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
